NJ Advocacy Network to End Homelessness
Advocacy on a local, state and federal level for adequate funding and sound practices that will end homelessness.
As we noted in our post on September 22, 2008, New Jersey’s first housing first initiative in Trenton and Mercer County is off to a successful start. This initiative will be the foundation of an expanded effort throughout the state to implement housing first initiatives to end homelessness. Richard W. Brown is the former Chairperson of the NJ Advocacy Network to End Homelessness. He has almost forty years experience in both housing development and community organizing. Since 1991 Mr. Brown has been the Chief Executive Officer of Monarch Housing Associates, the 1995 Governor’s Excellence in Housing Award winner in the organization category.
