Colts Neck News and Atlanticville join select newspapers
People who have lost their homes in the current mortgage foreclosure crisis have become new faces among the homeless in New Jersey. With the national economy in a downward spiral, and unemployment rates rising, the ranks of homeless people are likely to increase, perhaps dramatically.
On Tuesday December 9, 2008, the Colt’s Neck News published our op-ed under the title of Homelessness catches Congress’ attention. The Atlanticville, which covers Eatontown, Long Branch, Monmouth Beach, Ocean Township and West Long Branch, published the op-ed on December 18, 2008. The title was Public urged to speak out on homelessness.
The op-ed has now been published in nine newspapers.
The other seven were:
The Times of Trenton,
the Bergen Record,
the Herald-News,
Asbury Park Press and
the Home News Tribune.
The Jersey Journal and the
Tri-Town News.
