More than 100 attend 1st Annual Meeting

On January 14, 2009, more than one hundred (100) people attended the 1st Annual Membership Meeting of the New Jersey Advocacy Network to End Homelessness. The event was held in the Statehouse Annex Committee Room 5. Senator Dana L. Redd (D-Camden-5) spoke about her passion for ending homelessness. She said she was committed to working with the members of the Advocacy Network to End Homelessness. She asked the membership to return to Trenton when the Homeless Trust Fund is voted on by the full Senate.

Other speakers included Department of Community Affairs Commissioner Joe Doria and April Aaronson who represented Human Services Commissioner Jennifer Velez.
