Survey on the impact of foreclosure and homelessness
The Advocacy Network would like to encourage our members to respond to a nationwide survey examining the experiences of homeless service providers as well as individuals facing homelessness due to foreclosure. A coalition of national organizations is requesting responses from advocates, service providers, and people surviving foreclosure, so if you can pass this information along to your organizational members, please do so.
The National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH), the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty (NLCHP), the National Health Care for the Homeless Council (NHCHC), the National Policy and Advocacy Council on Homelessness (NPACH), the National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) and National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) are conducting the survey.
This survey has been available for a couple of weeks but will be closing this Friday, February 6.
It is one page and will take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Your response is greatly appreciated.

Background
On April 15, 2008, the National Coalition for the Homeless (NCH) released a report detailing the results of a national survey of homeless service providers and advocates. The results showed that over 60% of respondents had seen an increase in the number of people experiencing homelessness, particularly due to the sub-prime loan foreclosure crisis that has shaken the country in the last two years.
