Thirty-six NJ groups sign letter to the
Obama Administration and Congress
to Produce or Preserve 1.5 Million Homes
and to Create 200,000 New Vouchers Per Year
Deadline to Sign On is April 17th!
On April 7, 2009, we published NHTF Funding Plus 200,000 New Vouchers in which we asked our members and friends to sign on to a revised open letter to the Administration and Congress calling for:

Dedicated sources of funding for the National Housing Trust Fund sufficient to, over the next ten years, produce or preserve 1.5 million homes affordable to people with extremely low income.

200,000 new vouchers each year for ten years.
We are pleased to announce that thirty-six (36) New Jersey based organizations answered that call.

The national goal is get 1,000 organizations on this revised letter.
If we work together over the next two days we can raise the number for New Jersey to fifty, sixty or even more!
Let’s prove that New Jersey can be a leader on this important issue that is crucial to our efforts to end homelessness.
