Mangano to leave ICH

May 15th is last day on the job

Philip F. Mangano announced in the Interagency Council to Homelessness newsletter on April 29, 2009, that “I will be leaving my position as Executive Director of the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness effective May 15, 2009.” In his statement he noted the many successes over the last seven years and committed that he will continue to be involved. “I do not leave our mission. I stand ready to work with you to complete our abolitionist agenda.”

Mr. Mangano visited New Jersey frequently to meet with local leaders to develop strategies to end homelessness. In one of his last visits last year November, he spoke at the ceremony establishing New Jersey’s Interagency Council to Prevent and Reduce Homelessness.
