Senator Russell Feingold (D-WI) is circulating the attached letter to his Senate colleagues. The letter will be sent to the Senate HUD appropriations chair and ranking member. The letter supports adequate funding for all vouchers in use and asks for increased vouchers in FY10. We urge you to contact your Senate offices this week and ask them to sign onto this letter. Last year both Senators Lautenberg and Menendez signed a similar letter.
We strongly encourage our members to send a letter by fax or to call the offices of our two Senators and ask them to sign this letter for this year.
In your letter or when you speak to them, please mention that this is an item that will be included in the scoring for the 2009 Congressional Report Card.
