Rapid Re-Housing by Marge Wherly

The New Jersey Advocacy Network to End Homelessness held an important webinar on May 27, 2009, the webinar focused on Rapid Re-housing. The presenter for this webinar was Marge Wherley, Supervisor of Housing and Homeless Initiatives for Hennepin County, Minnesota (FHPAP). FHPAP is facilitating the end of homelessness by providing state funds, including TANF block grant dollars, that can be used innovatively by counties and community nonprofit organizations to help families remain in their homes, re-house those who become homeless and shorten the length of time families spend in shelters.
