The Rev. Bruce Davidson, the Director of the Lutheran Office of Governmental Ministry and a member of the Steering Committee of the New Jersey Advocacy Network to End Homelessness was honored on October 28, 2009, by the Housing and Community Development Network of NJ (HCDNNJ). The Network was celebrating its twentieth anniversary. They are an active member of the New Jersey Advocacy Network to End Homelessness,

In his acceptance speech The Rev. Bruce Davidson spoke of the Housing and Community Development Network as a cathedral of Hope in difficult times. When you go to their office, he said “you find people who see the worked as you do and when you leave you have hope and confidence that we can work together.”

He challenged the group to set as a goal for the next twenty years that “there will be affordable housing for everyone in New Jersey.”
