The 2010 CoC Registration Notice is posted on HUD’s Homelessness Resource Exchange (HRE) in the “Current Highlights” section and the CoC Registration is open in e-snaps! Each CoC should enter or edit its information in e-snaps (including HHN amount) and upload the final GIWs (as approved by HUD) into e-snaps.

The “2010 CoC Registration Notice and Important NOFA Changes” webcast will be available April 22, 2010 in the archived webcast section of the HUD website. The presentation highlights key competition changes and concepts for the 2010 CoC Registration process.

HUD strongly encourages all CoC lead agency contacts, applicants, project sponsors and other interested stakeholders to read the 2010 Registration Notice in its entirety, view the 2010 CoC Registration Notice webcast, and review the training modules on HUD HRE before starting the CoC Registration process in e-snaps. All technical and program policy questions must be submitted to the HUD Virtual Help Desk.

Important Notes
•This registration process is not for project applicants. The project application (Exhibit 2) will be available no earlier than July 1, 2010 with the publication of the 2010 CoC NOFA.

•Only CoCs that applied in the 2009 competition will have the opportunity to elect to import their 2009 data into the 2010 application. The CoC must choose to import its information during the CoC Registration process. Any CoC that does not select this option during the CoC Registration process will not see any of its 2009 data in the CoC’s Exhibit 1 application when the 2010 CoC competition opens.

Grant Inventory Worksheet (GIW)
After the CoC has reviewed its SHP and S+C GIWs, please submit the GIWs to the local HUD field office to complete the reconciliation process. The final HUD approved version must be submitted in e-snaps during Registration. If you have any questions please contact your local HUD field office.
