and work to end homelessness in New Jersey
Photos and video available

Despite an early winter blizzard, seven of the nine Homeless Person’s Memorial Day events were held on December 21, 2009 in New Jersey. Governor Jon S. Corzine issued a proclamation declaring December 21, 2009, as Homeless Person’s Memorial Day. Similar proclamations were issued by counties and municipalities in support of this crucial event.

Over the next few days we will be adding photos, videos, copies of programs, proclamations and other materials.

We have uploaded seventeen (17) video clips to our YouTube Channel and our Facebook Page from the 2009 Homeless Person’s Memorial Day. We still have a few more to add but these provide an overview of the day for events held in Atlantic, Bergen and Mercer counties.

The video can be viewed on our YouTube channel by clicking here.

The video’s are also available on our Facebook Page by clicking here.

These are some of the initial photos which are also available by clicking here on our Facebook Page. Over the next two days we will add full captions.
